“Rope” 2006 (1 Minute 33 Seconds)

“Rope” was a documented and edited performance where I repeatedly put ribbons into my mouth. The sound was composed of my heartbeat which was collected after seeing a cardiologist for a presumed irregular heart beat and wearing an echocardiogram for 72 hours. While doing this performance I was thinking about the overwhelming parts of my life.
